Ethics and Gouvernance

We have a responsibility to our clients and partners, and believe that good practices in ethics and governance help create value for them. We are committed to respecting solid ethical principles. In adhering to codes and guidelines, we not only respect the letter and the spirit of the rules, but also try to go beyond their basic requirements.

Our principles and recognized practices in governance have allowed us to develop rigorous policies and management systems that are applied to all of our activities.

Our main objective is to be a leader in business governance and ethics in applying best practices and demonstrating transparency and responsibility to our customers and partners.

Our administrators, managers and employees is governed by a Code of Conduct, which expresses the various principles, rules and directives defining ethical behavior. All Veridion employees and administrators must read and sign this Code upon employment, and every year thereafter.

We actively contribute to improving the well being of the communities where we do business because we know that, in the long run, their strenght has a direct effect on our company. 

 

Protecting the environment

 

Knowing the importance of protecting the environment, Veridion has set up a committee for the establishment of "green" actions and has adopted a viable development policy. To turn that policy into concrete reality, the committee has proposed a course of action for 2007-2008. The proposed measures seek the adoption of more environment-friendly habits.
