Introduction to ISO 27002 (1 day)
This introductory course to ISO 27002 (formerly ISO 17799) provides participants with basic knowledge about best practices in the implementation of information security control measures based on the eleven domains of ISO 27002 : security policy, organization of information security, asset management, human resources security, physical and environmental security, communications and operations management, access control, information systems acquisition, development and maintenance, information security incident management, business continuity management, and compliance.
Curriculum
Day 1 : Introduction to of security control measure implementation best practices with ISO 27002
- Presentation of the ISO 27002 standard
- Concepts in information security
- Presentation of the 11 control areas of ISO 27002
- Examples of control measure implementation
